Christmas Capers at Castle Court
Providing free festive fun for all the family, Christmas Capers* is coming to Castle Court on Saturday 13th December. A definite date for your diaries!
It wouldn’t be Christmas without the return of the ultimate ‘spirit of the season’ – The Grinch – who’ll be with us between 11.30am and 3pm. Nobody knows where he’ll pop up, but there’s sure to be plenty of mischief, capers, and cheek! Perfect to snap a superb selfie…
We’ll also be joined by the Candy Canes. They’ll tower above you and provide a fantastically festive touch in-centre, backed by our decorations and lights. With treats to tempt, don’t forget to interact and take advantage of a photo opportunity with this larger-than-life eye-catching duo. Here are their performance times:
- 11am – 11.40am
- 12.30pm – 1.10pm
- 2.20pm – 3pm
There will be a mobile grotto in The Band Stand where children can enjoy a photo opportunity with Santa.
With Christmas stalls dotted along the mall, you can pick up your presents and little extras. Here are some of our stall providers:

We'll also have a great raffle to win a Christmas hamper, in aid of our Salvation Army charity appeal, plus representatives from Single Parents Wellbeing will be providing activities.
