Empowering young eco-warriers

As part of our 'Keep Castle Court Clean' initiative, we recently teamed up with two local Primary Schools - The Twyn School and St Helen's Catholic Primary School - to empower our local young eco-warriers to care for their community in Caerphilly.

Undertaking tasks such as litter picking; identifying where chewing gum, cigarette butts and other rubbish had been dropped; and writing chalk messages to the public encouraging them to keep Caerphilly clean, the children were kept very busy. They also learned about disposing of waste sustainably and how recycling waste can turn it into new products.
